Each current responsibility is described in further detail below. Web Project Manager: Responsible for design, development and deployment of agency applications wrapped in browser-based solutions. Developed all flavours of applications including shopping cart applications and e-commerce solutions for both the agency intranet and extranet customers. Oversee all internet development, following guidelines for ADA compliancy, privacy and public information legislation, as well as following 'best practices' methodologies. Database Administrator: Responsible for all Windows NT Servers running Microsoft SQL Server, NT Servers running Sybase SQL Server, Novell servers running the Sybase NLM, one Sun server running Ingres, and a mainframe NDMS network database. Perform installation, upgrades, maintenance, backup strategies, monitor performance, and tune all databases, database servers and operating systems in all environments. Maintain and execute maintenance & support agreements with vendors. Provide support to all developers by applying SQL Server functionality to business rules and to ensure maximal data integrity through data adherence to business rules. Have designed, developed and deployed Internet and Intranet solutions that include automatic FTP of data files to and from other agencies and corporations for use in SQL Server and corporate applications. Provide technical assistance to GLO staff (clients and programmers) during all phases of ongoing projects and the support of past projects, while adhering to the corporate Software Development Life Cycle Model. Applications Project Manager: Responsible for the development of new business applications and the support of existing applications. Utilizing a client server environment at TGLO, we use MS Access, MS Visual Basic, PowerBuilder and web development tools to develop front end applications. With executables deployed onto Novell or Netscape servers, we utilize SQL Server (either MS or Sybase) as our data sources. We have right-sized our business applications from a mainframe, utilizing software either developed in-house or purchased 'off-the-shelf'. Coordinate projects from gathering initial requirements,through deploy-ment and into final support, utilizing a 'cascade' deployment methodology. These applications extend to the design and deployment of Internet solutions also. Ensure audibility and compliance to the TGLO Software Development Life Cycle model through all project phases. Managed objectives, performance reviews, salaries, interviewing, hiring and all aspects of employee relations.
